The Graduate Student Affiliate Program is designed to bring together graduate students and faculty mentors from a variety of fields (including law, geography, industrial relations, sociology, economics, etc.) to:

  • meet and connect with other emerging scholars and faculty at Queen's working on issues connected to labour and work
  • ​develop your thinking on these issues in an inter-disciplinary forum
  • present works-in-progress and receive feedback from the group
  • receive mentorship from established faculty members
  • learn about grants, fellowships, conferences, speakers, and other opportunities at Queen's and other institutions
  • get involved in the work of the Centre, and
  • be recognized as a Centre affiliate and have your profile featured on the Centre's website
